A visit to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is much more than dinner and a show, it’s an immersive journey into the world of knights, royalty, and medieval pageantry. From the moment guests approach the castle-like fortress, they are transported back to the Middle Ages through elaborate décor, costumed performers, majestic horses, and a festive atmosphere that encourages visitors to cheer passionately for their assigned knight. The experience combines live theater, athletic competition, and interactive audience participation, creating an unforgettable outing for families, couples, and groups alike.

The adventure begins as guests enter the castle gates and explore the Hall of Arms, where they can view armor displays, browse themed merchandise, and admire the resident horses and falcons before the show. Each guest receives a colored crown that determines their seating section and the knight they will support throughout the tournament. When the "Call to Table" is announced, guests enter the Grand Ceremonial Arena and take their reserved seats surrounding the sand-filled battlefield. As the entertainment unfolds, guests are served a hearty four-course feast that typically includes garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, and a dessert pastry, accompanied by soft drinks and coffee. Throughout the meal, the action progresses from a royal introduction and impressive displays of horsemanship and falconry to medieval games of skill, lance-shattering jousting matches, dramatic sword fights, and thrilling hand-to-hand combat as six knights compete for victory and the favor of the Queen.

What makes Medieval Times truly unique is the way it transforms spectators into active participants. Guests enthusiastically wave banners, chant for their knight, and celebrate every triumph as if they were attending a championship sporting event. Combined with the spectacle of Andalusian horses, authentic-looking armor and weaponry, theatrical storytelling, and a meal enjoyed in traditional medieval fashion, the experience creates a lively and memorable evening that appeals to visitors of all ages and leaves them feeling like honored guests of the royal court.
