Hours: Castle Peak & Thunder Railroad is only open for visitation during certain weekends of the year. Please see their website below (under “resources”) for open house dates, and how to obtain (free) tickets via Eventbrite. Please be aware that tickets are limited and go pretty quickly once posted, so it’s best to signup for notifications on their website.
Parking: Free neighborhood street parking.

If you build it, they will come. For architect; David Sheegog, the “it” in this case is a miniature reconstruction of Disneyland with multiple Disney-inspired flourishes thrown in for good measure, spanning the entirety of his backyard located in a quiet neighborhood of Anaheim. A lifelong Disney fan, Castle Peak & Thunder Railroad has been a passion project for Sheegog twenty years in the making and will hopefully be around for twenty more years at least! No matter how old you are, unless your soul is dead, you'll explore this one-of-a-kind "garden" sanctuary with wide-eyed wonder, smiling all the while as you encounter pint-sized versions of nearly every character in the Disney catalog, all of whom call Castle Peak & Thunder Mountain home. If you’re a Disney enthusiast, or just someone who loves the spirit of human ingenuity, Castle Peak & Thunder Mountain is a must-visit attraction that will leave you with BIG memories.
